Comedian Ken Dodd recovering in hospital
Comedian Ken Dodd has been forced to call off a figure of shows after organism admitted to hospital.
The 80-year-old whiz has had a herniation operation at a Liverpool hospital, according to his spokesperson Henry M. Robert Arthur Holmes, wHO also confirmed that Dodd will be back on stage next month.
A spokesperson for the Royal Liverpool Hospital said: "I've just spoken to him and he told me to say he expects to be home in a duad of years."
Dodd was reportedly taken to hospital on New Year's Even subsequently his sell out operation at Liverpool's Symphony orchestra Hall.
